DjBida Internet Cafe is located in the far-flung municipality of Buenavista, Marinduque, 30 kilometers South of Boac, the Capital of the Province, where landline and Wi-Fi is inaccessible and Internet is strange to many.  It started its humble beginning in January 2005 with only P350,000.00 as initial capital for five (5) computers, very small aperture terminal (VSAT)  equipment for broadband Internet connection, software and other cafe paraphernalia. Due to its promotion of free tutorials, more and more customers learned the basics of computer operation, web browsing, e-mailing, chatting thus the demand for more client stations started.

           In 2006, more computers were added and it has extended its Internet service to some government offices and neighbors through either dial-up service or LAN. Switching facility, Remote Access Server and power generator were added as an investment to support dial-up service and to ensure uninterrupted services to our valued customers especially in times of calamity where commercial power and cellular networks are down.  In the same year, Wireless Internet access point was also installed to provide neighbors with either laptop or Wi-Fi enabled mobile phones access to Internet.

          In 2007, computers were upgraded with dual-core processors, replaced old CRT monitors with LCD, renovated and extended former shop, acquired digital copier (Xerox machine), laminating machine, digital camera, photo printer and Antamedia Café Management Software.  Nowadays, we have fifteen (15) desktop and one (1) laptop computers.

           The changeover from NAPOCOR to 3I Powergen, Inc. as the main power distributor in the island of Marinduque in 2008 yielded to a perennial brownouts all over the province.  Enticed with this situation and with the skyrocketing price of diesel from second to third quarter of the same year, DjBida Internet Cafe  focused its primary backup power to a renewable power sources.  6-KVA Industrial UPS with 2,000A-h battery bank, 100 Watts Wind Generator and 100 Watts solar panel were installed to power  the whole shop during brownouts for at least six hours at full load before shifting to diesel power generator.

         In order to provide our customers with diversified but quality services, products and a comfortable environment, DjBida Internet Café is constantly changing.

             The acquisition of mug press machine in January 2009 marked the beginning of a new service, the "personalized mug sublimation printing".  It is the first and only mug sublimation printing shop in the province.  With our introductory offer, we can give you the best personalized mugs suited for all occasions at the lowest price.
